MCI New Rules For MBBS In China


MCI is the Medical Council Of India is a government body that is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of medical education in India. Not only that MCI trusted universities around the world including China offers certificates to students before practicing MBBS in INDIA after graduating from MCI approved foreign universities.

Some of the important MCI rules if you want to study MBBS in China:

  • No student is allowed admission in MBBS until he/she has completed the age of 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
  • Last year some students who have not qualified NEET exam were also allowed to do an MBBS degree in China, those students must seek MCI for an eligibility certificate.
  • NO student is allowed to sit for the screening test of MCI if he/she doesn't produce the eligibility certificate issued by MCI that includes the NEET qualified scorecard.

The application request to the Medical Council of India should be well-formatted. It has to be submitted with original mark sheets along with photocopies of documents self-attested. If you belong to any of the reserved categories than you have to submit a certificate for the same. MCI returns the original and keeping the photocopy of documents for the verification of the student. Along with the documents a demand draft should be made in favor of the Secretary, Medical Council of India. So if you want to pursue MBBS in China if you to do these necessary things along with the eligibility certificate from the MCI. 

Once the verification is done and all the necessary details are verified then only the council will issue an eligible certificate in the name for you to study in any MCI approved Chinese Universities. It is said that before taking admission to any university students should inquire about the medical university and its fee structure.

It is mentioned in the certificate that once you have done MBBS from any Chinese University you have to go for a Screening Test conducted by MCI to practice medicine/dentists in India.

MCI is very strict with its rules and regulations and giving an eligible certificate to any student and for making it short the table below suggested all the necessary details for eligibility according to the Medical Council of India:

With growing competition for the seats of best colleges in India, every year and this is increasing exponentially every year that one thing here to be added that for studying outside India especially China is a very good alternative for students who want to pursue MBBS and want a quality education before practicing MBBS in or outside India.
