Google decided it's time to bring its phones out. Google has two new smartphones, the Pixel and Pixel XL, and these are the first that Google says it has designed on its own in terms of both hardware and software. Meet "Pixel, A Phone by Google." The Google phone is finally here. The new Pixel phones will be the first to use Qualcomm’s 821 chipset. There are a few improved performance numbers worth noting, including a 10% faster CPU speed over the 820, and a 5% bump in gaming performance. The latter improvement important for Google’s VR project Day Dream.
It has the highest rated smartphone camera Ever. A battery that lasts all day. Unlimited storage for all your photos and videos. And it’s the first phone with the Google Assistant built in. --> Google
Google insists Pixel is the right name for its new phone. "For us, it's always represented the best of hardware and software designed and built by Google," Rick Osterloh, Google's hardware chief, said on stage Tuesday. That's because Pixel isn't a new name. There are already Pixel Chromebook laptops and tablets that Google designed in-house.

Hardware And Software :- Under a new hardware division set up last year, Google itself has taken control of the phone’s look, feel and specifications. The result is what can be described as the first true Google phone, one that takes the combination of hardware and software that Apple have used so well and applies it to Android, the world’s most popular operating system.
Size and Color :- The 5-inch Pixel and 5.5-inch Pixel XL come in two colours in the UK, irreverently named “very silver” and “quite black” (the “really blue” of the US is not available in the UK). The colours are simply fine: nothing you won't have seen before but perfectly nice.
Google Pixel release date :- The Google Pixel and Pixel XL are already up for pre-order in the US, UK, Canda, Australia, and Germany, with an expected release date of October 20. As mentioned above, the phones are also headed to India.
